Sine Negrense 2022: Full list of winners

The 2022 Sine Negrense: Negros Island Film Festival held its awards ceremonies Saturday night at Seda Capitol Central. This was the return of face to face screening and awarding ceremony after two years online due to the restrictions brought about by the Covid-19 pandemic.
Proclaimed Best Picture in the open category was Jonathan Jurilla's Ang Babayi sa Suba, which won two other awards: Best Musical Score and Best Sound Design. Kurt Soberano's Golden Bells won the Jury's choice and eight other awards: Best Director, Best Screenplay, Best Cinematography, Best Production Design, Best Editing, Best Supporting Actress for Jane Quilisadio, Best Supporting Actor for Milton Dionzon and Best Actor for Fuji Jalando-on.
In the Intercollegiate Category, David Reasol's Perya De Juan got the Best Picture Award and six other awards: Best Director, Best Cinematography, Best Editing, Best Musical Score, Best Sound Design and Best Actress for Jerianne Panisales.

This year’s Sine Negrense Film Festival, held from 22-26 of November which was screened at Cinematheque Centre Negros featured 20 short film entries in various genre and style.
Since 2017, Sine Negrense: Negros Island Film Festival continues to provide a viable outlet of expression and aims to bring out a new generation of filmmakers and enthusiasts, as well as cultivate an informed public on the importance of Cinema and Storytelling in the context of National Identity, Culture and Heritage.
