Sine Negrense film competition is open to all Negrosanon who are born and/or currently residing in Negros Island.
Submission of entries will start on May 1, 2024. Deadline of Entries is on October 1, 2024.
School Category
Open Category
Only one (1) film per filmmaker /proponent is allowed. For the intercollegiate category, there is no limit to the number of film entries an institution can submit.
Films previously submitted and won at other film festivals shall be accepted but limited to local (Negros) film competitions only. Entries submitted to regional and national film festivals/competition shall be accepted under the Exhibition Section.
For Inter-school Category, in order to be included in the official selection, all crew, and staff should be students of the proponent school/institution. All crew and staff are required to submit a copy of their valid school ID. Proponents may opt to cast actors who are non-students.
Films must be made within 12 months prior to the festival.

Sine Negrense Awards Nights will be on November 30, 2024.
Permits of images, music, video footage used in the film must be acquired by the filmmakers if he/she does not own the copyright of the materials used.
